The problem
Recruiting at volume is a time problem. Screening hundreds of candidates manually is slow, inconsistent, and expensive. Phone screens take 30 minutes each. Resume review is subjective. By the time good candidates get to a human interviewer, some have already accepted other offers.
What we built
An AI-powered interview and resume evaluation platform for Interviewable.com. The AI conducts structured first-round interviews — asking role-specific questions, evaluating responses, and scoring candidates against defined criteria. Resume evaluation runs automatically against job requirements. Recruiters see ranked candidates with AI summaries, ready for human interviews.
What changed
Recruiters can screen at a scale that was previously impossible. One recruiter manages what previously required a team. Candidates get a faster response. The process is more consistent — every candidate gets the same structured evaluation regardless of when they apply.
The honest part
AI interviews need careful design. The questions, evaluation criteria, and scoring rubrics need to be built thoughtfully to avoid bias and ensure they’re actually measuring what matters for the role. We spent as much time on the evaluation framework as on the AI itself.
